Dr. Bartlett’s interests include all aspects of surgical oncology. His particular expertise is in the management of advanced, complex abdominal malignancies.

Dr. Bartlett and his fellow Surgeons have been treating patients with, Appendix Cancer, Colon Cancer, Abdominal Mesothelioma, Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP), Gastric Cancer and Ovarian Cancer with spread to the abdominal/peritoneal cavity with surgery and HIPEC at UPMC/Shadyside since 2002. The “HIPEC Program” at UPMC/Shadyside is now one of the largest in the World.
